Suffolk’s early voting numbers tell an interesting story about how residents are choosing to cast their ballots in the 2026 General Election.
As of October 31, 18,022 early ballots had been cast in Suffolk. Of those, 14,098 (78.2%) were cast in person, while 3,924 (21.8%) were cast by mail.
That’s nearly four out of every five early voters choosing to vote in person!
The daily voting timeline reveals another interesting pattern: in-person voting increased substantially during the final days of October, with some of the highest daily totals occurring near the end of the early voting period.
These figures illustrate the growing importance of early voting in Suffolk—and how voters are using both in-person and mail-in options ahead of Election Day.
