  • Electronic Newsletter

    Good news – we’re joining the 21st Century!  We are changing the way we have been distributing the newsletter.  Instead of using the tedious process of using snail mail, we will be sharing newsletter information by email.  Gene shared this information at our Christmas party in December – and the first email has already been sent.  (Thanks, Gene!)

    If you want to receive announcements about upcoming meetings and events – as well as information about local and state republican candidates, just send your email address to Eugene Sankey at esankey@charter.net.  Of course if you are already receiving emails from Gene, there’s no need to send the information again – you’re already on the list.

    What if you don’t have email?  Just call Eugene at  925-4764 and he will make sure you get a newsletter via postal mail.

    Either way, make sure we can connect with you.  We really do want to keep you informed of things that are going on with our Suffolk GOP!

  • January 7, 2010 Meeting

    The first meeting of the 2010 year will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Constantia House in Suffolk.

    Our featured speaker will be Senator Fred Quayle, who will discuss some of the subjects which will be on the 2010 General Assembly’s agneda.  As always, Senator Quayle will be happy to answer any questions you have!

    There will not be a meeting in Februay, but mark your calendars for March.  At the March meeting we will review the accomplishments of the 2010 General Assembly.

    The Constantia House is located at 509 West Washington Street, just behind R.W. Baker Funeral Home.

    Rush Limbaugh has a terrific piece that was highlighted in SWACGirl’s blog.  Read the post and see what you think.  I think this has a strong message for our own local party as well as our party state-wide.  Good find, SWAC Girl!

    The Winning TicketWe did it!  We took the state by storm and turned Virginia RED again.  Thanks to those of you who helped in the campaign.  We are sincerely appreciative of the time you spent helping to get these fine politicians elected.  We’re going to have a terrific four years with this new leadership team.

    I am excited about the possibilities for our party for the 2009 year and beyond.  We have a number of important elections in November 2010 and I know that by working together toward a common goal, we can get our conservative candidates elected.
